1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Release Date: Friday, May 5

Set to the backdrop of 'Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

 

2. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

Release Date: Friday, May 12

When young Arthur's father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur's uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down, and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy whether he likes it or not.

After her boyfriend dumps her on the eve of their exotic vacation, impetuous dreamer Emily Middleton (Amy Schumer) persuades her cautious mom, Linda (Goldie Hawn),to travel with her to paradise. Polar opposites, Emily and Linda soon realize that working through their differences as mother and daughter is the only way to escape the wildly outrageous jungle adventure that they have fallen into.

 

4. Alien: Covenant

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.

 

5. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul

The film will take place one year after the events of Dog Days. Greg Heffley and his brother Rodrick convince their family to go on a road trip for their grandmother's 90th birthday, but they actually intend on attending a video game convention.

 

6. Baywatch

Devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchanan butts heads with a brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.

 

7. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

10. The Mummy

Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the desert, an ancient princess whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in the modern era, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

After being trounced in a race by upstart newcomer Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer), everyone begins to wonder if Lighting McQueen (Owen Wilson) should retire. But Lightning isn't ready to throw in the towel yet, and with the help of another rookie, Cruz Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo), the old dog is going to learn some new tricks and attempt a comeback in the Florida 500.

 

12. Rough Night

Five best friends (Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, Zoë Kravitz) from college reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper.
